About the quiz
What does the quiz cover?
The questions span six decades of Ugandan football: the 1960s Pioneer Era, the 1978 AFCON final in Accra, the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup dominance in the 1970s and 1980s, the iconic SC Villa and KCCA continental campaigns of the 1990s, and the modern Cranes AFCON returns.
How does a match work?
A match is ten questions against The Archive. A right answer is a goal for you; a wrong one, or one left to the clock, is a goal for The Archive. There is a break at half-time, a 15-second clock on each question (which you can switch off), and one 50:50 per match. Today's match is the same for everyone each day; a friendly picks questions at random.
Where do the questions come from?
The questions are written by the Former Footballers Initiative team from the club's archive, published records and the memories of former players. If you think an answer is wrong, write to the archive desk through the contact page and we will check it.
Can I share my result?
Yes. At full time you can share or save a result card with your scoreline against The Archive and a mark for each question, ready to post.
