Bridging the Gap: The Legal Registration of FFI

Having operated as a community organization since 2015 to support retired players facing severe health and financial challenges, the Former Footballers Initiative reached a pivotal milestone on April 12, 2022, by securing its official legal registration (Registration No: 80020003497656). Establishing its physical headquarters at BMK House in Kampala, the FFI codified its five-pillar structural framework; Sports, Education, Health, Business, and Welfare, to design structured retirement pathways, manage welfare projects, and restore dignity to retired sports legends.
